The O-Zone looked pathetic tonight. There were six of you. I'm sure it was either because of the long haul from Athens to Cleveland or the fact that it was over X-Mas break, but I was definitely expecting a better turn out. Cincy didn't seem to bring too many fans at all either though, and definitely not a student section at all.If I make the trip this year to OU, are your security guards going to threaten to throw us out for yelling during free throws again?Also, I might be bringing ten buses myself, but they won't be full on the way down. I plan on filling them with goods from the Burrito Buggy and D.P. Dough to bring back to Akron. God, I wish Akron was a hippie campus. You guys have the best munchies ever.

It's officially OU week. Much like we do around Can't Week, they are trying to hype themselves up for the upcoming game. As far as commenting on the Rowdies, I really do not think it's fair to put down the section for a meaningless softie game over winter break. Rest assured that when OU makes the trip to the JAR, those sections as well as all of the other sections will be packed. It's our first chance to boo Bubba! We may have also lucked out in the scheduling of the GMAC bowl. A lot of OU fans might be in Alabama rather than Athens. This could cut into their homecourt advantage. One more note, I was at the OU/UC game tonight, and Yes, Tim O'Shea is still bald!

I wasn't sure if anyone was at the OU/UC game tonight at the Q, but OU beat the snot out of Cincy. They forced a lot of turnovers and drew a lot of fouls. Oh yea, and Bubba's lookin good in green. This game definitely makes me nervous. I'm thinking about heading down there next Saturday, anyone else planning on making the trip?

In response to how our season was so bad, after last night's FSU victory over UCLA, I came up with an equation... Akron beat NC State, NC State beat FSU, FSU beat UCLA, UCLA beat USC. Now I'm a firm believer that Michigan could have beat OSU earlier this year, especially if that game is on a neutral site. So if USC beats Michigan, Akron will therefore beat OSU next year.

I'll tell ya what. I thought Central was pretty good when we played 'em earlier this year, but I didn't think they were gonna be this good. Thank God they're in the West. I've definitely "got LeFevour." They've been pretty dominant all year, it'll be interesting to see how they do next year without their star D-Lineman, Bazuin. But LeFevour is a freshman and I think he's got potential to be one of the next great MAC quarterbacks in the NFL.

Just got home. Sucks we lost, but that was ONE OF THE BEST GAMES i've ever attended. It sucks going home a loser, but definitely one of the most exciting games ever, in any sport at any level. I'm putting this one up there with the football MACC game last year.

I heard another commercial today on WONE, this one for the Loyola Marymount game. (Yes, it did have that gay little 'Fear the Roo' jingle at the end -- Can we get rid of that?)

Since the band will not be at this game, I think it is a damn good possibility to have the intro and pump up music played.

When we were up in Niagara for the Zips game earlier this year, we were grabbing a bite to eat at the Hard Rock when a fella at the bar noticed all of our shirts. Turned out he was a UA geology grad that was currently studying the Falls. He didn't even know we were playing NU and he just seemed so amazed to see four dudes wearing Zips gear.

I don't know what you're talking about. I just heard a commercial for Akron Basketball today on WONE. TOO BAD IT WAS FOR THE GAME TWO DAYS AGO!

I think a few of the Rowdies might be going to Pints. There were about 7 of us there before the WSSU game. I know that's no much, but we weren't really planning on meeting a ton of people there. If anyone wants to meet us at Pints, we will probably be there around 5ish, probably earlier! I just hope we don't get caught. Apparently we aren't allowed to drink before games.

I was rooting for Can't in the first half too. It woulda been sweet to see a MAC school knock off Duke, but then I realized how much I'd rather see Ken't blow a chance to beat Duke.

Can't had a chance to beat Duke tonight and blew it. They led with a little over 10 minutes left then couldn't make free throws and turned the ball over too many times. It was a wild one for most of it though.
