I'm not so sure about that eventual successor thing but "the game II of III" should be a dandy. Our FT shooting stinks, your FT shooting stinks. If UA would have knocked a few FT's down during the course of the season they may be ranked. The stretch run will be fun to watch. Playing in Athens is always a treat (as UA can attest). I look forward to 3/4/07. I just hope our teams are not.

Actually, Toledo comes to the MACC on Feb. 6th. They should be undefeated in MAC play when they do. They won't be when they leave however. Then we can battle for MAC supremacy alone.

I cannot see much "D" being played in this game. I voted for Akron in a close one. Akron's high octane offense vs. Williams. Akron 40 Memphis 37 Oh my God, I'm going to be rooting for Akron :blink: The MCB should be a fun time. GO MAC !!!

Congrats to the Zips !!! You made the MAC proud. That game now ranks in my Top 5 List of "Best games I have ever seen." It was great not to see Toledo, Miami or BG in that game. What a refreshing change. Good luck in the Motor City Bowl. I think I might attend that one.

MAC bbs down for now. A true classic last night no doubt. It sure was nice to see the JAR full. The place looked and sounded great. Nice job Zip fans for getting out to see your team. About 100-200 of us Ken't fans did what we could. Ken't didn't really have their "A" game last night as a team but the guards brought it. Our interior "D" still needs some work. Way to many dunks for RT. Kudos to the Zip's for battling to the end. They could have folded when Ken't worked up a ten pt. lead. No quit in this team. "Bring back Hipshire, Bring back Hipshire"!!!. Mods: Nice default to Can't when you type in Ken't. Anyway, we will see ya in 16 days at the MAC Center. Don't even think about ending our home winning streak which will be sitting at 11 when you invade.

I've seen this "football game". They play with an oblong ball made of pigskin and kick it through a yellow "H", it is most exhilerating. "Coming To America " quotes rock.

Hey Pimp Boy, The "Bracket Buster" home and away schedule is set before the season begins( in order to sell tickets), but, ESPN reserves the right to change it to create marquis TV match-up's as in the Creighton v Can't and Western Michigan v Coll. of Charleston(among other) games last season. If the Zips do as well as most of the posters on this board believe they will, ESPN could give the Zips an away game against another high RPI team. It all depends how it shakes out. BTW, I enjoy football, but can hoop season start NOW ?!?!?!

I cannot wait for the MAC Tourney to start. This and the following week are the best sporting weeks of the year. Does anyone know where they sell rope in downtown Cleveland ? I will also need to know how to tie a noose on to the rope. I'm going to hand these out to my Golden flushes because they might need them Thursday. WTF!!! Can't is hardly overrated. Our "guest" must have been one of the 20 or so students who rushed the court after the game yesterday to come up with the overrated comment. If you watched the game Akron finally played to their potential. They put up probably the best defensive effort against Can't the entire season. They shut Edwards down and our three pt looks were not exactly wide open. The Zips have to find a way to win at Marshall. If they do, the #8 seed is looking golden Who on this board doesn't want to see a rematch next week on Thursday ?
