Or Devoe comes to Akron and becomes an impact player and keeps himself out of trouble. Honestly no matter what when a team like Akron has a chance to land someone as highly rated as Devoe you have to take the chance. The kid made a mistake when he was in High School and hopefully he will grow up real fast and live up to his potential.

Harvey played last year after taking a year off so I don't think the year off will hurt him much if he is keeping in shape and maybe doing some football like drills. In order for Harvey to return though he has a lot of work to do in the classroom so I wouldn't count on him at this point.

Wayne is one of the hardest hitters on the team. He is every bit as fast as mackey and adds more size to the position. The big loss in not having Mackey is heart, desire and football smarts. I think Wayne will fill in just fine. Just needs some time to get more reps and learn how to be a leader. Mackey was the heart and soul of the defense and I wish him the best and hope he can get a medical redshirt.

They can't really close the game to the public when it is at the outdoor practice field. It can't be inside because of the wrestling tournament that is being held in the field house.

They are having a scrimmage this saturday and it will be held at the outdoor practice field. I'm not sure on the time though.

Well we will just have to win the NIT and then we will get an automatic bid to the pre-season NIT and have that chance.

Dru is really having trouble with the pace of this game. He needs to slow things down and get things under control.

Just got home from the game. Some of my thoughts:1. Romeo being in foul trouble killed us. We were up 4 when he came back in and they quickly went right at him and he could do nothing. 2. Great game by dials but didn't get a shot the last 5 minutes of the game.3. Middleton was off his game tonight. Tried to force things and couldn't handle the speed of toledo's guards. 4. Dru had a decent game but also forced some things at the end and seemed to get tired late in the game.5. Wood continues to impress and is a force when fresh.6. Yes the refs were as bad as it sounded from French but wasn't the only reason for the loss. Both Middleton and Dru were fouled on three point shots late in the game. both were air balls because of the contact but no call was made. 7 No need to panic. We still have a great shot of getting the number one seed and should put this game behind us and go out and beat Ohio.

Well Giachetti already graduated. John Martin, Kevin Jackson and Brandon Butler aren't on the team anymore and Chris Brown has a career ending injury. And by my count only 9 of those guys will actually be starting.. 8 if Domonkos isn't the starting kicker.

The game was cancelled because they lost some sponsors.

One guy everyone is forgetting about is Kevin Grant. He would be a great fit into a team running a 3/4 since he is a linebacker that can play from the defensive end spot or cover down field.. With his size and speed I think he is a lock for the pros. Also Jarbari Arthur has a chance to be the best athlete to ever come out of akron. With another 2 good years he could be the highest ever draft pick from Akron.

I honestly don't think this is the right Brandon Anderson. For one Brandon Anderson didn't play at Penn Hills for high school. He is from a prep school in Virginia. Plus this article is talking about running backs and he is a Corner. He has also been practicing with the team for the first 2 weeks of spring practice. I think this may be a different Brandon Anderson.

That isn't even this years list of teams. That could probably be the problem. Notice that Can't State and Buffalo are both listed??
