I have always told all of you that Steve was like Rudy, but you never belived me. Have already taken down all me zips stuff in the office, I am now a loyal Vulcan. I wish you well Akron !!!!!

Steve is transfereing to the Unversity of California PA. He is going to fisnish his two years of basketball, while he gets his masters. Steve then plans to get his degree in Air traffic control from Beaver County Community College. Witch would not be suprise if someday his is not the head of the FAA. We his family are very happy to have Steve playing so close so that we may be to make the games to watch him play. As for Zip nations.org I will miss most of you but some of you I will not, you know how you are. Well take care an thanks for the ride. Steves Uncle

First of all I did not start this, even though you all know that I'm a fan of his. I was on facebook looking at my group stories. when I stumble across the"Steve Swiech fan club" This is a grass roots campaign to get Steve more playing time. I check to see who started the paige,an it was not Steve. They comments on the wall feel that Swiech has been overlooked. they hope that if they reach a 1000 members that KD will give more playing time. I always said that Swiech is Akron's Rudy!!

There is more to Steve than what he is often unfairly critizied for. Steve has the task of toughening upZeke Marshall. Steve's job is to beat up on Zeke every practice. He is doing a good job of teaching Zekehow to play the inside. Yes, the coaches, especially KD, oversee this process, but, it is Steve doing thework.Zeke's step-dad mentioned to me at half time that he thought (via Zeke) that Zeke has improved greatlysince the start of team practice. And, that Zeke had excellent coaching in AAU over the Summer. Zeke'sstep-dad credited Steve with being a large part of the process. I seriously doubt that Steve would be one of the players likely to leave for playing time. I think Steveis enjoying this important role. Thank you, Steve.WOW It's about frinkin time!!!!!!!! I was begining to think Swiech Who??? Is he a Zip?????? I have wait Two long yours for some on this board to recoginize Swiech's telant. Thanks Go Zip your alright in my book!!!! I nearly fell off my firkin chair!!!No I don't see Swiech getting quailty minutes this year; not until Bardo graduates. No I don't See Swiech Leaving Akron for playing time at a D2 school why would he. From what I understand He should Graduate next Dec. with honors and Start his Masters Program. (Beside isn't education is what the boys are really her for)? with even that being the case, he still should have a year left to play after his gets his Masters.I has broken my heart to see him sit on the bench time and time again, But I know this I watch him on the bench always the first one to get up and congradulate his teammembers. Swiech does more in team spirt then the AK- Rowdies on and off the court. I mention this before people Swiech does the same hard practice with the Zips as Rudy did for the Notre Dame Football. he is Akron's own Rudy like able and deicated. It is my opinon that Swiech is a good place mentally and will be happy for the free education Akron has givin him. He will leave without regret and be happy as an air traffic controller. Thanks again Go Zips you made this old man's day. I bow to Swiech and You I know your all going to look up to see who I am and why I have always been so passionate abot Swiech. Don't bother I'm Swiech Uncle.

I think you have them in the correct order. Yes, go with that.Doubtful, Bardo didn't even start the 2nd half of last year. It was Nik starting at C. So if Zeke isn't quite ready to take over the starting spot I'm sure it will be Nik starting at C. I would go with Nik, Zeke, Bardo.Not quite, good sir. Bardo's quick feet and supreme coordination make him a shoe in for the starting spot.I know no one is going to agree with me, however my feeling is this. It will be Bardo, Nik, Swiech. Zeke Redshirted The reason The team has to many Center to begin with. If Zeke dosen't knock the soxs of KD, KD will Red shirt him to save him for the 2010-2011 year. KD has done it before. It's just my opinion

Zipboy: It's true, he spends almost everyday lifting at the Gym. If you ever have the chance to grap in by the arm without him flexing It's like grabbing a tree limb.

I seen his roll and I just need to realize it will never change.

I agree but Swiech saw little to no playing time I doubt he will see any at all now. It's seem KD has forgot about him all together. As A fan I'm very disappointed.

So what happens to guys like Bardo, and Swiech?
