If jupitertoo's math is more accurate than some of the other claims he's made on ZN.O, 7,671 - 1,027 = 6,644 no-shows. Actually, 6,644 no-shows would not be accurate without factoring in the number of people in all the suites who would not show up in a grandstand seat count. Don't forget counting all the vendors, security, maintainance, and training staff. Plus the ESPN TV crew.

I counted the house last night from a faculty box in the tower. At the middle of the first quarter, there were 1,027 people in the stands. Was the game so boring that counting heads provided more entertainment? Wait. Don't answer that.

Miami was the 2nd worst team in the nation in rushing yards, but we let them get almost 200 on the ground so far. Love the trick play there. Allen pass to Nicely worked like a charm.

Temple will never win the MAC East. They's not the class of the MAC, and they will never reach that status enjoyed by CMU with LeFevour or Miami with Roethlisberger where you just knew they would win the conference and it was just a matter of seeing who the also-rans would be.

I think now that the players have gotten the first-game jitters out of their system and tested themselves against a real team we'll see a lot of improvement over the last game, especially from the underclassmen. It also helps that we're back home after playing in such a difficult environment.
