Absolutely wrong.You don't look the other way, this isn't K-ent.These are STUDENT athletes. As coach said in the pregame, "We continue to have low tolerance, no player is bigger than the program." I love it.At the end of the season, all that counts is the final standings. No one is going to remember that we could have should have would have won with humpty/brett/whoever gets suspended next.I'm embarrassed that you're a Zip fan. Go root for Can't.I've been a Zips fan longer than you have been alive.At the end of the day it is the W column that counts.Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY thing.Wow last I checked this is college sports, not pros.....If this is school related whats more important....that a kid sits one game to figure out schools important and get a degree and a job, or a kid play this game we win one game maybe, never learns his lesson and fails outta school or dosen't get his degree....their student athletes...THE STUDENT STILL COMES FIRST

The one thing I noticed from the game was Zeke's new Free Throw shot.....It's GOOD not whatever the crazy thing he use to do....He might actually shoot 70 to 80% with that kind of shot!! which will go be good when we start pounding him down low!

We just don't match up well against Eastern Michigan, and to top it off they started off hot. Also, Humpty was out (which I totally agree with Coach if it's what I heard all I'm saying on that) We needed to lose to a team we should've beat maybe this will wake us up, make us hungry, something...We are a good team, but I think we thought we were gonna be amazing coming off a MAC Championship season, with a good showing against Gonzaga, with Zeke coming in, and only Nate leaving....Nest year might be the year we thought this year should be! But this is still a good MAC team nothing more, when they play there ass off they can be the number one team in this conference.....Unfortunately their attitude is why were losing in my opinion we act like we can beat teams cause were Akron.....That still means nothing unfortunately

I say this with respect, but are you serious!!!Just qualifying for the NCAA basketball tournament brings hundreds of times more publicity than a soccer title. Winning a game or two in the NCAA tournament would bring thousands of times more publicity to our University.As much as I think it would be a cool thing to win a soccer national championship, just remember that NCAA first round basketball tournament games are on CBS, while even the final game of the soccer cup can't even make it to the main station of ESPN.IDK we went last year and hand Gonzaga on the ropes, and we got nothing a highlight of McNees getting dunked on was all....I'd rather win it on in a sports which still gets time on ESPN 2, and the News around THIS AREA! we were on Channel 5 for Men's Soccer not that much for basketball....Cleveland St. was more important to Cleveland....ej....if what you are thinking about is the publicity, you seem to be ignoring two very big factors.1) The NCAA tournament selection show, watched by tons of college basketball fan nationwide, followed by all the national sports analysts talking about the pairings for days afterwards, the brackets appearing in the sports section of newspapers all over the country, and the distribution of brackets in offices all over the country.2) The entire game televised in several part of the country on CBS, in prime time. And it's one of the most-watched yearly sporting events in the country. Sure, I'd love a soccer national championship. No doubt. But, noting that one of the Cleveland news stations may have shown a longer highlight of our soccer title game, as opposed to our NCAA basketball tourney appearance, doesn't address the much, much bigger chunks of publicity we got from basketball. There is not even a remote comparison in the amount of publicity we received from these two events.This is true I forgot about that....but being at the game I was told we were not shown on CBS that much...That they showed the other games...I honestly have no idea....It's the same tho I mean in 5 years who's gonna remember even if we won that game besides us....A Nation Championship same thing, but it's still a national Championship compared to a win....Idk Let's just have all three happen! I honestly can't compare all three...then again I was a soccer player in high school.

We need to learn to get through the one down part we have in every away game......it happened in Buffalo and now in Can't.....If we can get through that we'd be 5-0 in the MAC! Team still needs to grow up a bit

First road game in MAC play for our Zips. Ohio lost at home to Can't State 62-60 on Saturday. I like our chances to go 2-0 in the MAC, but how do you think we'll do on the road?

First TV timeout this is what I've seen.....The crowd seems pretty pro Akron. So I don't think we have to worry about homefield at all. The Zips looked a little shaky, but seemed to pull it together at the back. Great shot by Ampi, but it was an even better save. Keep it up boys your looking pretty good.

Chris seemed lost to me most of the game....Brett McKnight I heard was hurt this summer and fall?....His defense looks better than last year and he'll get his scoring touch back I think he'll be good to go by the time that MAC play starts.....I really hope the same for ChrisHumpty looked like he was trying not to get to pumped up...I think the new AD was keeping a close eye on him good to see he wasn't suspended though. McNees had a great game hit his three's and ran the point very wellRoberts carried the team in the first half he was the only reason we weren't out of the game come the second halfConyers was amazing....it seemed like every time we needed a board he got it. Deserved the start and if he keeps playing like this will start every game.I miss the McClanahan from last year....He seems like he's scared to miss so he's either not shooting or missing.Zeke had a good game for a freshman...I would like to see him grab more offense boards, but that will come...His free throws are some of the wierdest shots in the world.....2-6 not the best Nik can drive pretty well....plays hard when he's out there and supports his team when he's on the bench......26-34 From the line a great improvement....still needs to be better....Roberts 4-4 and Conyers 6-6Niagara's coach really blew it for his team down by 6 and he got two T's Roberts goes and hits all 4 making it a ten point game They could never get back in it...Good Game Zips can't wait to see how you do against Texas A&M
