I'm amazed at how well Lebron has "played" out his possible free agency. He has made the Cavs front office put together a pretty good team. If he could do the same thing for the Browns or Indians, that would be amazing. Where ever he signs, one thing is for sure, that team has the most talented player in NBA to build their franchise with to win a championship. That is the hardest thing to get as a team. If he doesn't sign with the Cavs, the next front office will do the same thing the Cavs did. It may take two years though if it's a crappy team. It may not. Hope the Cavs can pull it off. Cleveland can use some kind of luck in sports. One thing is for sure, whatever uniform LBJ is wearing, that's my team. That's the guy that is entertaining to watch.

Plimpton took it all the way. Fantastic article. I'll never forget reading that story in the school library. I told everybody that would listen to me about it. I think SI announced weeks later that it was a joke. I never believed anything I heard or read again.

How did we go from having Monsters of Rock festival to wishing for Jay-Z or Dave Mathews!?!? I've seen Nirvana at the JAR, Tool at the Daily Double. What happen to the Akron music scene???

Has anybody transferred out of Akron in the last 10 years to a bigger program? No. So if somebody is transferring, they would be transferring "down" Why would a kid at Akron transfer "down"? Playing time would have to be the number one reason. So I would start my list of players with the ones that aren't seeing the floor. I'm not going to post names, but that's how my thinking goes on the subject. For me, I'm really not that interested until I see something official. I think back to when JD was let go and a few posters stated that half the team was leaving including PN7. I can wait. Bubba was an exception, but many would argue that it was addition by subtraction.

My annual golf trip is scheduled at the same time. I wish this game was recorded and replayed like bigger schools. I'm pretty sure ND does it, I wonder if Rob will bring that idea with him? Other schools spring game tv schedule

You should respect that request. People change their mind. The minute somebody isn't on their team anymore the bashing will begin. Example, any player that has ever left the Browns. Fan: "if this, this and this happened, Player A would be great" Player A leaves the team, same fan "Player A sux, he won't do anything with his new team" I've heard it more times than I care to detail.

I loved Huggy. Entertaining basketball. Plus I understand his offensive and defensive philosophy. I'm not smart enough to understand KD's offense and defense. I think that's why I get bored and frustrated watching Akron sometimes. If he ever taught a class on it, I would take it so I could enjoy the games more.
