I totally agree that he's probably not ready, I'm just telling you what I witnessed.Sorry about the Akron comment but I heard he made a visit to Boston College. I love Akron,Go Zips!!

From what I've seen from Jac and Rodgers in both scrimmages they both need to step it up. Nicely looks better than both, I still can't believe he picked Akron over all the other school's recruiting him.

I just heard that Matt Barkley a true freshmen is going to start for USC, I just wonder maybe we need to look at our underclasmen at QB, it's not like we've been blinded by brillance.

Defense is looking good from what I seen at the last scrimmage but the offense needs some work...

If I hear one more time we where just a few close games from being 9-4 I will truly loose confidence in an educated zip football fan that has to know that a win is a win and a loss is a loss. Close is only in handgernades and horseshoes...

I went to the scrimmage and the QB play needs to be addressed. The coach needs to make some hard decisions. At the end of the day he has to play the best guy or suffer the consequences.Go Zips!

As we approach a season that offers such great opportunities to do something special as does every other football team in america. The players need to play up to there ability and produce with no excuses. They need to commit to the Coach's the system and themselves,at the end of the day they are young men with bright futures. They need to believe in this once and a lifetime chance to make something special happen. I hope some players step up to lead and set an example to follow.Go Zips !!

Don't count out the other QB's, JD is on a short leash and at the end of the day he will play the best guy, after all it's his job on the line. At this level you must play the best guy. I hope Jacq has a great year and takes us to the promised land. Go Zips!!

[No news is good news. Akron has a history of our top recruits not being on the team by the first game, but supposedly that's no longer a problem. Once camp starts up, we'll find out about position battles and stuff. I'm thinking that the QB spot will see a battle, despite returning a QB who started for two years already.

The bottom line is just win and begin a tradition of winning and everything else will take care of itself. We have the facilities and the coaching staff all we need is the players to perform. As for the fans we need to support our football team and stop the complaining and negative responses and think positive. We can make this happen just be supportive.Go Zips!

The bottom line is how hard the PLAYERS are going to work to be the best they can be..the coaches can only put together a system to win..we have all the intangibles in place..i.e. coaching,system, facilities,..it comes down to players making plays and support from the fans..that's where we come in..be positive and believe... GO ZIPS!!!

Randy Greenwood... you can't coach speed..kickoff or punt, he has more moves than Exlax...

we have without a doubt the best facilities in the MAC, along with the high profile coaching, we have nothing to worry about...we need to identify the positions we need to address and target them..GO ZIPS!!!
