I hope you mean a one game suspension in addition to the ejection, because the game yesterday still counts as a game played. Doesn't matter if you get ejected in the 1st minute or the 39th minute, he needs to sit one full game.I don't know...I'd like to see him suspended one game but I think I would like it even more if Can't stepped in and resolved the issue on their own (as they should). Emotions are running high in games like this, but that is no excuse for a classless play and player. He doesn't belong on any team if he's gonna take away from the game as he both has and continues to do.

While at the game there was no way I could have had a clear angle of this, but after watching the last clip of the video I can't see any reason not to call that a punch. While I (and no one else for that matter) can know his true intention, it was out of line... period. I personally believe that the one game suspension given was enough, but I think it would show no class on Can't State's part if they did not follow up with some discipline of their own. I know there are quite a few Can't fans that have had enough of his antics and pure lack of sportsmanship, but I won't get my hopes up.I'll just be cheering all the louder when we get another chance to beat them at our game.Lets Go Zips!

Zeke has said it himself that he really doesn't care about scoring tons of points, he would much rather be making blocks. While I understand that he is regarded for his defensive ability, I hope here at Akron he can develop a thirst for success on all sides of the ball. We need a consistent inside threat and I think the coaches will ease him into that role. I think it's unfair to expect Zeke to come in and change the team, but to be honest we have a lot going for us. Just building on what we already have will set us apart. But lets be honest.. we have the potential to be miles apart from the rest of the carbon-copy MAC. With a little experience I feel Zeke will grow into quite the leader, unselfish yet able to take control at any moment. He'll be the role player Akron needs most.Zeke Attack

One less game= one less chance for the zips to drop the ballEvery team can make mistakes, no matter the talent, and with such a young group of guys it looks like blown first half leads (of 18 or 10) will not be a rare event. With that said let's hope the Zips have learned from their mistakes and are ready to bring it to a new level.

At this point I am VERY happy with a bye either way. Im thinking about Thursday and Sunday's games rather than looking back at what coulda been (which to be honest makes me sick). The zips are in the drivers seat so lets get all the fan support we can and hope for the best! Lets go zips!

I agree with you guys I think getting the fans into this game can, and will be a major advantage for the Zips. The excitement is contagious so I think every little thing that can be done will help. It's extra important in these few remaining "momentum games" to get the fans and team into it so we can roll right through the MAC tournament. Not sure what the spark will be...but I know it can ignite a fire within the arena. I'm gonna be on the edge of my seat but I hope most of the game will be spent standing and cheering with the rest of the arena!Time to get the ball rolling Lets go zips!

While I was surprised at the general youth of the league (note- NIU and Toledo) there is little doubt that we are not the most experienced team in the conference (note- Miami and even Buffalo). If the writer was commenting that we had more experience in close or even tournament games I could partially understand, however I still would have my doubts (note- Can't).Am I wrong?
