Your funny! As you can see I am going to the Akron games. I didn't mean to "talk down" to anyone. Just replying to the people who think the games prices should be $5 or free!

I chuckle every time I start to read these post about ticket prices. You all think so small. Lowering ticket prices is not the answer. You need to win games. The people will come once that starts. I work at OSU. I get two season tickets a year. What I meant to say is ,I get the opportunity to purchase two season tickets a year.The price $1200, then you pay $20 to park EACH GAME! Do people pay...of course they do! Because they WANT to see the team at any price. But what I didn't mention..the person that bought my season tickets also paid $1000 extra dollars!, because he is willing to pay any price to see the game. This is the norm. I then took some of that $ and bought 4 season tickets to Akron. Everyone has so many excuses..if they really wanted to come, they will pay the price..bottom line. You built the stadium, now build the team..they will come.

I had a great time tailgating at the game. I met a lot of really nice people and lots of true Zip fans. Thank you again to Zips Win and his family for making me and my family feel so welcome. I am hoping we can all get together for breakfast next week! I will bring a camera so I can take pictures and post next week.

I want a Wagner 34 jersey. If any of you figure out a way to mass order any jerseys ..let us all know. I tried to get one last year and was told to ask the equipment manager for the team about getting one. Does anyone know who that is?.. And I wonder if they would order for the fans?

How can a player that is 5th in the nation in tackles and 1st in the MAC in tackles get second team? Can anyone explain? Brian Wagner was robbed!

After reading some of these comments, I think I am going to try and talk my son into leaving! (insert sarcasm) Where do some of you get your ideas?

I agree with you GP1...I have said for weeks that the only teams we should have lost to are CMU and Penn St. We are comparable to any other MAC team. The talent is there...maybe after the Can't win, the confidence is there too! The defense will play tough tonight. Hopefully the offense will do what they did last week...it should be a good game! Go Zips!

Totally new look to the team! Loved the offense and some of the play calling! Defense was just as solid as ever! What a great game! It was fun! Lets do it again this friday...GO ZIPS!

I agree with you. True Akron fans that can afford a great night out! How can you have a beautiful stadium and expect to get tickets for free? How can you respect the team and university if the tickets are just given away? The team, the university deserves so much better than that. Lets make this whole experience positive! While I am on a roll...why don't the fans get loud on 3rd downs? I have never seen anything like it. You are at a football game...people stand up and make noise on third downs!!! Thats what you are supposed to do!! My husband and I were doing that and everyone just turned and stared at us! Why aren't the fans getting involved more? The team needs to know you are behind them! NO ONE should be sitting down. The band should play something (has anyone ever been to an LSU game?) Bells should be ringing (has anyone ever been to an OSU game?) You should have seen the CMU fans and students , it was great! I could go on... What is wrong with everyone? Show some spirit!!! We could be the ones to make a difference....

The defense has been the best part of this team all season. They play hard every game. They are on the field the most time of every game. They hold up well under pressure and have held a few teams to limited yards and scoring. (ex-OU put up 44 points against BG!). They play with their hearts. I am impressed with this group of players.
