  1. Haha he's on timeout from ZN. They did not go to the game, but will be at all of the SSFC preseason games. I'm actually going down for the Desert Diamond Classic in Mid february and SSCF's "starting" right back is usually called into Sweden camp and they have qualifying that week so DeA might get the nod.
  2. Didn't Porter say he was hospitalized? He must have more than just the flu. Frankly, I don't know how much of a loss it is. In Alfred's last couple of games he looked...lethargic. I'm more worried about getting Brenes back out there.
  3. I'm sure the Head Aviator would be able to chime in on this as well, but this team is going to be so F ing fired up for this tournament it's going to be amazing to watch.
  4. This is why I'm almost (almost) somewhat happy with the seed...my one worry abot this team was complacency. Now every single player, coach, and staff member has a chip on their shoulder the size of Ohio. There is nothing more dangerous than a "fuck the world" attitude with talent to back it up.
  5. I'm pretty sure going 19-0-1 and beating ND and Creighton would have gotten us a top four seed...
  6. Exactly. Aside from ND, no one in the Big East is as good as their seed. The only "good" teams Georgetown, UConn and Marquette beat were each other. The rest of their schedule was crap teams or teams that Akron also beat (Michigan State. Penn State, etc.)
  7. I want to play whoever the crappiest teams are. I could care less about payback or series records or what conference they are from. I want a national championship.
  8. Not going to lie, it's been incredibly frustrating lately. After all of last year and the first part of this year running smoothly, the feed as of late has been atrocious, if available at all. They always seem to be aware that there are issues, but no one takes any time outside of the game to figure out the problem. For instance, last week against WMU they had an entire pregame ceremony. Why not turn on the camera and make sure it's working during that rather than making people miss the first 15 minutes of the game while they swap out computers? Hell, you can test the camera on a hallway if necessary, it doesn't have to be at a game.
  9. I don't think we move up to 1 even with a win this Saturday. Could be wrong but UMD SoS is still better than ours.
  10. Souders will probably be the D mid when we need to hold a lead. Quinn comes out and Trapp moves forward. Ha, I'm not sure. Maybe for one of the MAC playoff games. Chances are lower if he only plays 45 ;-)
  11. Based on timing, I wonder if it was planned to limit him to 45 minutes. Subbed out for last five of first half and back in for last five of second half...you wouldn't put an injured player or someone you feel is playing poorly back in when the game is on the line. Nice to see we have depth at outside back though, that was definitely a concern coming into the year.
  12. LOL I'd almost rather it be injury related than from poor play...poor play gets you benched and CP doesn't like to sub.
  13. Not that anyone can tell. I know he said his legs were tired after the Hartwick game. Maybe it's just for poor play.
  14. According to Paul Warner it was Yedlin who was subbed...also hoping for no injury/poor play haha.
  15. haha I'll try. Most of my match observations surround a particular player but I'll make sure to watch the whole field this time It will be really nice watching a game that isn't through Akron's video feed. After working pretty well all last year and early this year, the feed the last 4 or 5 home games has just been atrocious. Apparently they switched to some different computer to run it off of...bad move.
