    I don't think Gallego had a choice. He was not offered a HG contract by NY to turn down. No guarantee he will sign with Portland.

    I don't see us having a hard time with Michigan. Coach Porter will have them ready. I also think Washington will have a hard time beating Creighton on the road.

    Niagara was 13-1-4 but played in a very poor league. We all know about Michigan. This years game was typical as we controlled game but they also played a man down for almost half the game. We need to score a couple of first half goals and will be fine.

    Nothing can be done about the seeding. Akron got screwed over pure and simple. Best thing to do is to win the cup and show the selection committee what a bunch of idiots they are. I think we will be ok. We need to focus on our first game against either Niagra or Michigan. I don't think U Conn will beat the winner of the Virginia New mexico game anyway.

    I don't want NI in the tournament because of their dirty style of play. Too much chance for injuries.

    Hope for a great turnout on Saturday. Did some exploring on WV web site. They have played 13 games but only 4 on the road. 8-1 at home and 0-2-2 away. All wins against unranked teams. Leading scorer with 5 goals and a bunch of players with 1 or 2. On paper looks very good for us to continue unbeaten streak. Any updates on injuries? Hopefully will finally be at full strength.

    Any idea if Barson or Dershang will play tonight? or when they might return?

    Looked at Michigan stats and they have only scored 15 this year while giving up 16. Five guys have 2 goals each as team leaders.

    So do you think if UNC wins they would go up to top four from where they are now at 14?

    If we win out you may be right as 3 of the teams in front of us are from the Big east so they will knock each other off in their tournament. 2 teams we have left with decent (top 50 RPI) are Michigan and west Virginia so this week is super important. Also we should all be rooting for UNC to beat maryland on friday.
