  1. I'll take over and guess around 5 times. With Deji out, I see more opportunities for Frenchy to get frustrated. Hip Zip, you could create a drinking game based on the "Frenchyisms".
  2. Does anyone know of a link to watch the game? EMU's is just like WMU's where you have to pay, and the MAC site doesn't offer any feed at all.
  3. I know this is off topic, but does anyone give Can't a shot in Toledo tomorrow night? What would be more beneficial for us? IMO I'll take the Can't loss and hopefully end the weekend with a 2 game lead over Can't and Buff.
  4. I agree with you here. Two years ago during the streak we had good energy in the crowd. I remember a home game against Buffalo where we were down 16 early in the first half, yet the crowd got into it and cheered the team on. The same people are at the games as they were two years ago. The team needs more support from everyone, not just the students.
  5. That is a tough call. But at the end of the season I'd rather be battling Toledo for the 1 and 2 seed than Buffalo and Can't for the 2 seed.
  6. Wow...I thought that was just for one game. Thanks for the update.
  7. As we learned from the OU game, you can't take any opponent lightly. Despite Jimmy Hall being out Can't is still a threat. Look what we did in WMU with Jake and Pat out. I agree with you on the lack of enthusiasm though. I feel it at the games too. At times the game against Buff felt like their home game. I can't explain the lack of passion. I just know I want it back.
  8. There was an incident last year with Hurley and Q. It was only a few minutes into the game it was either on the media timeout or a UB timeout, where Hurley got in Q's face as he was walking back to the bench. I think I remember Q saying Hurley was trash talking him while the game was being played as well.
  9. When I was a kid I was a big Duke fan (before the championships) and I idolized Bobby. I wanted to be him when I grew up. I even met him after a game once. It's very disheartening to see the type of person your childhood hero has become.
  10. This game and the following game against Can't are going to be major factors on how the rest of the season unfolds. The way things are panning out so far this could easily be a season where multiple teams at the top finish with the same record. We have the tie breaker over WMU, BGSU, and CM. Which makes taking the series or at least splitting it with Buffalo and Can't all the more important.
  11. I'm with johnnyzip84 on foul trouble with Pat. OU is a team to never be taken lightly regardless of their current record. They're always a dangerous matchup. Especially in this rivalry.
  12. This is a tough game to call. My concern is keeping Pat out of foul trouble. I know Big Dog played great last Saturday, but defensively I feel we need Pat in the game to minimize Holmes.
  13. Scratch that last comment.
  14. His exact quote is "first win outside the JAR."
  15. There is no confusion. He makes it sound as if all wins were "home" games.
  16. In GT's "snapshot" of tonight's game. He states that last week's win over WMU, was the Zips first win away from the JAR. Does he actually follow this team, or think before he writes?
  17. Jake played 33 minutes in the game against CMU. IMO we needed him to play all of those minutes. His physical presence, hustle, and defensive skills are quite valuable.
  18. Last night Frenchy said it was a blow to the head that caused Jake to have blurred vision. Major concern. If this is correct, I doubt he'll play Saturday against WMU.
  19. If you just focus on KD's home percentage for conference games, I'm guessing his win percentage would close to the 88%. I don't know the actual numbers, just guessing.
  20. During the non conference schedule you could say 7 of those games are against the so called "cupcakes." (Middle Tennessee is clearly not in that category) that averages to roughly 41% of those home games against the cupcakes.
  21. Dave in Green, I've been reading this forum for a long time, and I often think of you as the voice of reason. When things get off topic or people argue you always manage to bring things back on topic.
