I think the Zips can win this game. I'm not saying if i were him i would necessarily pick them to win, but I would at least predict a close contest. ZachTheZip
I haven't seen a single preview that has us scoring more than 17 points. That's how much we got at Wisconsin with unknown quantities (WR corp and no B.Will at RB), and it was our worst point total of the year. Cincinnati's defense is not as good as Wisconsin, and we know what we can do. Jacq will be able to tear apart Cinci's secondary with Jones and Bowser running around out there. They think we are a run-first offense when that's not true at all.
Captain Kangaroo
If sorry-a$$ Miami scored 20 on them, and Oklahoma rolled up 56...I'm pretty confident we can break the 20-point "barrier."
Lee Adams
no question, 'on paper' cincy should win...my fear is that with their D if they get up early and they pressure CJ its going to resemble wiscy and bsu...AND not only could the Zips lose, they could get beat up and go into the can't game with no gas in the tank...the season will be decided this week and next...can you hear me JD? Win, and we will roll. Lose, and you're out of here, JD. Split and we'll be stuck in limbo just like we are now with no bearing on how good or bad we are. Oklahoma is the best team in the nation. They will score 50 or more on a lot of good teams.

I assume tomorrow's refs are Big East. Anyone know?BTW, Oklahoma MAY be the best team in the country but I'm thinking the SEC might have a little to say about that before the season's over. I was in Oklahoma for the game, and that was one of the best college football teams I have seen in a long time. The only weak spot I saw was kick coverage. Bradford has a great presence in the pocket and has a ton of weapons around him.

Captain Kangaroo
10 of Miami's points were directly the result of phantom pass interference calls. And the other ten were the result of "phantom" holding calls, I assume? Instead of giving up twenty, you ACTUALLY shut them out? A few other bogus calls really hurt the Bearcats on offense too. The score SHOULD have been 72-0. On third down they kept dumping it to their running back and it took us a while to make the adjustment and stop it. Trust me, the 2 pass interference calls were a couple of the worst I have ever seen.
