johnnyzip84 Posted October 5, 2008 Report Posted October 5, 2008 Looks pretty nice indeed, MDZip! Most of us would have taken this at the beginning of the year, no doubt. But now that we're there, let's STAY there by taking care of business one game at a time. Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted October 5, 2008 Report Posted October 5, 2008 It's kind of funny that in basketball, the EAST is the strong division, but in football, the WEST is the strong domination. It does look nice though. Come on Zips! Don't lose this season. Quote
Zipsrifle Posted October 5, 2008 Report Posted October 5, 2008 I'll tell you what, as skeptical as I was prior to the season, we have the talent. Right now, I'm convinced we could very easily be 5-1. If we can take care of buisness, I think we've got a shot if we see BSU in Detroit. On the other hand, we could also very easily could have been 1-5 right now, so I'll take 3-3. Lets just hope everyone gets healthy!!! Quote

I think they changed it to all conference games, didn't they. Quote
akronad Posted October 5, 2008 Report Posted October 5, 2008 This season standings are based on every game in the MAC. This is because of the unbalnced divisions. Quote
MDZip Posted October 5, 2008 Author Report Posted October 5, 2008 I really dislike how the unbalanced schedule works. There is just no way to really make it fair. BGSU has only the bottom three teams in the West (of course they just lost to one of them), Buffalo and OU only have two games (but both have both Central and Western), Temple gets those two plus Eastern. On paper it looks like we have the advantage over everyone buts BGSU, so that makes next week's game pretty critical. Beat them and we have the the tie breaker and can definitely get some help from the West from some of our other foes. I liked the format where only your division counted and the West was just a tiebreaker (of course the was the way we made our only MACC so maybe I'm biased . Quote
RACER Posted October 5, 2008 Report Posted October 5, 2008 that's what happens when you have a mac commish who lets teams in for no reason.there was no reason to let temple in unless you had another team along with them. Quote
