No more look-alike threads for this year

Its fun to do but it has only been done four times this year - all four have been losses and since we win when we don't do it, I personally pledge not to start another this football season. :) Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go tie my rabbit's foot to my upside down horshoe.

Perhaps we should ditch the "all blues" at home as well! They are attractive, but aren't we 0-3 with them this year? Do we even have gold pants anymore as an option?BTW, look at what I stumbled upon when trying to verify the last time the Zips wore gold pants. Here is a link that ranks our UNI's (although the image they use is from the 2005 season!) as SECOND WORST in the country behind Tennessee. Must be a Can't website :gun:Link

Agreed. How about a "Love Child" one then?Example: Mel Kiper Jr. is the "Love Child" of Count Chocula and Joey Buttafuoco.936598.jpg

I was going to ask this question as new thread, but this seems as good a thread as any to chime in. Does the NCAA require/mandate that the home team wear dark jerseys? If not, why don't we go with the white jerseys for the upcoming home games? They seem to be working out pretty well on the road this year.

It's always been my understanding that the home team get's to choose their jersey color. The only stipulation is that the visiting team is made aware of the change well before a scheduled travel date.

I can't believe Penn State isn't on that list.

What I have always wondered about our uniforms is why the A-Roo logo on the helmet is backwards on the player's left side. Why not just put the same sticker on both sides so that the logo is consistent with our Athletic A-Roo logo. Always been a major issue to me.

haha, I actually mean that maybe we should do a lookalike contest on zips, if everytime we did one to another team they won their game.

Per NCAA rules for colleges and National Federation rules for high schools, the HOME TEAM will be dressed in dark colors and the VISITING TEAM in light colors.
According to a wikipedia entry on this subject, the NCCA rule is that the home team wears dark unless the visiting team consents otherwise. But there is an exception where conference rules state that the home team will have its choice as to uniform, as is the case with the SEC.Who's going to tell Joe Paterno PSU can't wear white at home?
