vuweathernerd
I don't think there's any debate about the MAC having an off year. We've been discussing this here for quite awhile now, and no one has disagreed. That's one of the reasons why many of us believe a young, inexperienced Zips team has a realistic shot at the MAC championship. It should be no surprise that the Horizon is rated higher, even excluding Butler. The question on everyone's mind is how the Zips will fare against Valpo, which has a worse won-lost record, but against stronger opponents. The only way to decide this is to play the game.as has been said many times on our board, that's why we play the game. i'm looking forward to it. but at least i'm now no longer the only valpo fan on here. Captain Kangaroo
Actually, if you take away Butler, we're 14, which if I'm not mistaken is still ahead of 18!That's like the 4' 1" midget calling the 3' 11" midget "shorty."The MAC and the Horizon are both midgets. 14...18...who cares. You guys have Butler, and we have Eastern Michigan. Swap them and see where the RPI would pan-out.
