Z.I.P. Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 Can you imagine if we had connections with the two greatest basketball players of all time? That's recruiting gold.Marcus Jordan Chooses UCFToledo apparently gave him a lookI saw Marcus back in December. He's a smooth, well polished all-around player as you would expect. But he doesn't have any of his dad's hops, or speed for a D-I guard (his game is almost between a 2 and a 3 position-wise, but he's not even 6-3). He should excel at UCF however. I was led to believe he would join his brother at Illinois. Wonder what happened. Quote
RootforRoo44 Posted April 8, 2009 Author Report Posted April 8, 2009 Because we went after Zeke.Of course, I'm just saying if i could free up a scholarship somehow that would be a great pickup if for name only. Now i know in the article it says he didn't want someone wanting him for that reason but you could have convinced him with the MJ/LBJ argument. Noone can tell me it wouldn't be great to have a connection with those two. Quote

Zip Watcher Posted April 8, 2009 Report Posted April 8, 2009 Dude's probably not good enough to be on the Zips. That could be one reason they didn't recruit him. Quote
