Anyone here work in the sports marketing dept?

I am currently a sophomore, majoring in Graphic Design here at the University of Akron. I'm sure some people have seen some of my work here on this site, in the uniforms thread and other areas. I'm just looking for any information about getting an internship in the marketing dept. for the 2009-2010 school year. If anyone here has any information about someone I can contact, anything will help...thanks..

I did intern in the athletic department but it was in the media relations area. I was in the School of Communication and they had an internship program where they would help look for an internship for you in the area you wish to go. I wanted to be in the sports area either for a newspaper, magazine, etc and they managed to have me intern in the athletic department. It's for college credit. I don't know if your particular school offers an internship program, but check to see. I enjoyed working in Akron Athletics, so if you have the chance to work there, do it. Good luck to you.
