Lewis would be a senior in the fall so if he wants to transfer, he would have to go to a Football Championship Series program.What if he transfers to Morgan State? :blink: IU must have another good QB if they were sharing the snaps last season and Lewis was switching to WR this spring.

Lewis was better in the open field than he was behind center. I think he would have been most dangerous with somebody pitching it to him behind the LOS. He was never a good passer.

I believe he could transfer and play at an NAIA school as well. I recommend this option for him. It would help to grow the chip on his shoulder.

i dont know the rulebook that well, but if he was kicked off the team and he transfers to another school, doesn't that mean he has to sit a year per NCAA regulations or does the rule not apply because he was kicked off the team?

You don't sit if you transfer to 1-AA.
