Zips License Plate

Recommended Posts

This is a link to an NFL web page where license plates are sold. I looked on Go Zips and couldn't find anything, but it could be my fault I couldn't find it. I want a nice (not plastic) Zips license plate for the front of my car. Does anyone know where I could get one? Was it my fault I couldn't find it on Go Zips? Help?

Possibly it's because in Ohio you are required to have a front plate so it's not a priority, not that UA alumni only live in Ohio.

GP1, I have a really nice metal front license plate frame from the Student Union Bookstore. You might try there to see if they're still selling them.

If you're interested, Dr. Donovan in the Chemistry department told us in lecture that he was giving up his "AK Rowdy" license plate and would give it to the first taker. I could probably contact him if you're interested. On a side note: I've seen some creative Zips license plates in the parking lots before. I can remember, "UAROTC", "ZIPSRIFLE", and a few other variations of that sort.

I've had 3 customized Zips license plates, and I have never tried to get ZIPSRIFL..why? Well, "Rifle" is a banned word in many areas and I'm pretty sure it wasn't going to make the cut on a plate. I also can't use my normal screen name on Ohio.com to comment as "Rifle" is not allowed not to mention several other places. On a related note, I'm thinking about donating my old Michigan plate to UofA. At the OSU game I saw where OSU fans did that...thought it was pretty cool. I didn't have much competition for the plate "GO ZIPS" in Michigan.....

I'm pretty sure that's team member Michael Tokarz's plate and he's from West Virginia, so he also had a custom front decorative plate.

Yeah, I think I remember West Virginia plates on a puke green car.

My truck is registered in PA and they don't require a front plate...I'm leaning towards buying this onePlateI think it's cool because of the metallic finish, but I really wish the "zips" was in blue or something to make it stand out more.
