I'll give him 5 minutes of scrimmage time before he's thrown out. I mean hey, they've got to evaluate the other guys' shooting skills, and as long as he's on the floor they definately won't be getting any shots. Quote

They used to say "The only man that could hold Michael Jordan under 20 points was Dean Smith." The only way to hold LeBron under 20 points would be to put Tarver on the floor with him! BTW: I hear Tarver and LeBron are friends. This tryout may be a "favor." And...could Tarver be any worse than Eric Snow...Ira Newble...Diop? Quote

Although both of them suck as scorers, both play good defense, and Snow can pass the ball. I don't like either one of them, but to make them as bad as Tarver isn't fair. When Tarver hears the word defense, he looks for a gate to go through. When he hears the word pass, he looks for the quarterback. Quote
InTheZone Posted June 4, 2005 Author Report Posted June 4, 2005 Apparently Tarver's tryout went just as we predicted. He took a ton of shots, didn't make very many of them, and even got stuffed a few times. I think it's safe to say he won't be suiting up in the wine and gold anytime soon. Quote
