g-mann17 Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 Now how good of indicator this is I am not sure. But for the heck of it I did a ticket search for the Morgan State game on Ticketmaster. No tickets available. As a test I searched Best available for same results. Then I checked Indiana and the best available was 208 row 24. (just checking the system worked).Sellout? Quote

Anyone who has anything to do with this Universtiy knows that little things like this have always plagued the U of A. Its the little things like this that give it so much charm and one of the reasons I have always loved this school and the sports programs that come with it.See you at the Rubber Bowl in a few days! Quote

Sure, they have gigantic stadiums and huge merchandising options and all that stuff, but those are all products of doing the small things the right way, like a smooth ticket sales process, up-to-date website information, and the like, which is the reason they have fans who keep coming back even if they don't have a connection to the university. Dave in Green Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 I visited GoZips.com as suggested. But instead of clicking on the large Game Day Central graphic, I used the drop down menu from the FanZone tab to select Game Day Central, which is not synched with the new stadium info. Most people will click on the main graphic and not be able to savor the nostalgic sidetrip as I did. ;)No big deal. I've just recently gotten into website building for my wife's business, and completely understand that the bigger and more complex the site gets, the more opportunities to overlook a bad link. Quote

The site does not make it clear at what times the shuttle service will be available from the Rubber Bowl. Anyway I plan on parking there to avoid the crowd. Looking forward to really spreading out my tailgate party. Stop by for a cold one. Quote
