RatFink Posted July 22, 2005 Report Posted July 22, 2005 Latest word is that the Zips will play at Nebraska for the twelfth game in 2007 and not at Tennessee. Look for other changes, like maybe (finally) a home 'n home with Navy. Some other interesting opponent opportunities being pursued. No I-AA types on the horizon. Quote

My all-time favorite Zips road trip opponent! I would LOVE to go back to Lincoln! Quote

Nebraska only has eleven scheduled. Besides, my source is reputable. Quote

Captain Kangaroo Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 Heard yesterday from an insider that Nebraska could be on the the schedule for 2006. In place of NC State or Penn State, I'd assume? NCST, PSU and the Huskers would be one hell of an uphill climb for such a young Zips squad. Sounds like that LSU, Nebraska, I-forget-the-other-team death march the Zips endured in the late 90's.
