My Wish

This is post 777 for me, which should be lucky so I don't wish to waste it. All I want is an NCCA tournament championship for men's soccer, another MAC title and NCAA tournament win for men's basketball, continued improvement for the ladies in both sports and a football team next year that wins and generates enough interest to fill Infocision. That's all. :)

May all your wishes come true. How about a bit more? Send the Zips deep into the NCAA BB tourney, have the track team earn several national championships again, get the softballers kicking ass in the MAC and have the tennis team become a Midwest power. Oh, and let's not forget the rifle team. That's one top team we don't want going postal because we overlooked them. There, now I feel better. :D

I think the soccer and BB wishes are closer to reality than the FB wish. I would say I have two huge Zip wishes at this point in time. The first is for the rifle team to become a yearly competitor in the NCAA championship match. They have yet to make it to the match as a team, though they continue to be on bubble. I think once they break in, it will break a barrier and team NCAA championship won't be far behind. Very few people realize where this program has been and what the coaching staff has done to get it on their rising path of success. My second wish is to see the Info full late in November at a MAC showdown and one team with a top 25 ranking! The Zips would be the victors! When I say full, I mean turn people away at the gates full! The first game at the Info was great, but last Friday was the same story, different setting.
