ZippyTuba11
Right now we have 5 teams that are already bowl eligible-Central Michigan (9-2)Northern Illinois (7-4)Temple (9-2)Ohio (8-3)Bowling Green (6-5)There are also three teams on the bubbleCan't State (5-6)Western Michigan (5-6)Toledo (5-6)Can't State plays Buffalo, Western Michigan plays Ball U, and Toledo plays Bowling Green. If all three win, MAC gets 8 bowl eligible teams this year. Who do you think makes it and who do you think stays home?I don't think anybody has a chance, outside of the top four, but one of those other 6win teams might get lucky...MAC game of the week this week is definitely Temple at OU. Winner gets MAC East Crown and goes to play Central for the Championship.
GP1
The real heartbreak is there are only two teams on that list the Zips could not beat in Temple and CMU. From scheduling to coaching, this team is so mismanaged.......
Zipgrad1990
I think only the top four will get bowl bids, although BGSU has an outside shot.Central Michigan (9-2)Northern Illinois (7-4)Temple (9-2)Ohio (8-3)Right now we have 5 teams that are already bowl eligible-Central Michigan (9-2)Northern Illinois (7-4)Temple (9-2)Ohio (8-3)Bowling Green (6-5)There are also three teams on the bubbleCan't State (5-6)Western Michigan (5-6)Toledo (5-6)Can't State plays Buffalo, Western Michigan plays Ball U, and Toledo plays Bowling Green. BG goes bowling at 7-5 over NIU.
MDZip
There are more teams eligible than bowl slots right now, but a lot of them have a good chance of finishing 6-6. Since the rule is that any 7-5 team must be taken before a 6-6 team, I'd say BGSU has a reasonable shot if they win their final game. If not, no chance. I think the other four will all go. None of the bubble teams will go. And in a bit of irony, Doug Martin's prediction of making a bowl game likely came down to the loss to the Zips (so we got that going for us ). zip37
Chances are slim and none, and Slim just left! Remember who we have as coach
ZachTheZip
If BG wins, they will almost assuredly get an at-large bid. Hoping that Western wins and Can't loses. If the MAC can get 6 teams in bowls, it would be a good year for the MAC assuming that they win a few of them.Akron gets a small piece of bowl payout money for each MAC bowl team. That's another way that BCS conferences have tons of money because they usually have tons of bowl teams.

The payouts aren't as much, but hey, its something. Too bad we can't be in that mix though.Scout.com has their projects. They just went the teams with the best record so far. Makes me really wonder who is going to get the shot if NUI and BG tie.Little Caesars Pizza BowlDecember 26th, Detroit MI, 5 pm, ESPNBig Ten No. 7 vs. MAC Projection: Notre Dame* vs. Central Michigan*No Big Ten team projected availableInternational BowlJanuary 2, Toronto, Canada, Noon, ESPN2Big East vs. MAC No. 4 or 5 Projection: Rutgers vs. OhioGMAC BowlJanuary 6, Mobile AL 7 pm ESPNACC vs. MAC Projection: Middle Tennessee* vs. Temple *No ACC team projected availableEagleBank BowlDecember 30th, Washington DC, 4:30 pm ESPNACC No. 8 vs. Army or C-USA Projection: Northern Illinois* vs. East Carolina*No ACC team projected availableThat Central/Notre Dame match they have seems to be most interesting. I'd love to see Central beat up on the BCS's darling. Rutgers and OU looks like a great game as well.I actually really hope that Can't State wins their last game, because they won't be going anywhere at 6-6 and that means our win was the main reason they didn't go bowling. Still no bowl games for the flushes since 1973.
