GoZips88 Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 The Akron at Texas A&M game Friday night (8PM ET) is being broadcast on Fox Sports Southwest for any of you who have access to it. I just called The Tap House and was told that Randy is going to order access to FS SW for a day if any of you are looking for a place to go watch the game. Quote
zippyfan34 Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 A&M is ranked #19 in the AP and #22 in the ESPN/USA polls. Hopefully we continue with our second half play on Sunday and maybe pull off the top 25 upset. Quote
Deeustin89 Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 any way to watch online i wonder? Quote
RowdyZip Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 any way to watch online i wonder?I'm guessing www.channelsurfing.net will have it on, they seem to carry a decent amount of regional games. That being said, I'm going to be in downtown Akron Friday night for a nifty cover band, I'm hoping that the Barley House (AKRON'S home town bar ) figures out a way to carry this so I can at least catch some video while I rock   Quote
ZippyTuba11 Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 I'm hoping that the Barley House (AKRON'S home town bar )I always figured it was Columbus's home town bar... Quote
The Hip Zip Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 I wonder if thats part of the Dish's multi sport package?? Very cool though, I'll find a way to watch it. This is a real test for our guys to say the least. I really think we hang in there and play them very tough. I say that because we can match up with just about anybody. We can go big or go small and go either way with success. Most of all it's really all about interior defense and rebounding. We have to keep Zeke out of foul trouble or at least to hang in there until deep into the game. If we can get out of town with a win it will really put us on the map. I'm getting a bit fired up about this one, I would love to be there.GO ZIPS !!! Quote
Sergeant Zip Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 It isn't showing up on http://www.channelsurfing.net/. Anybody know of any other options for in-home viewing? Quote
RowdyZip Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 Funny. I was just told that "Direct TV doesn't carry that channel" by the fine folks at Barley House. It's a shame I have to patronize them just because I want to see the band playing there. Losers. Quote
RootforRoo44 Posted December 5, 2009 Report Posted December 5, 2009 love how the game was blacked out...that sure sucked Quote
