tbozeglav Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Here's a link to The Tulsa Message Board in case anyone is interested. Not much to speak of in the way of fan support there. Only interesting tidbit was this: Akron was leading Stanford 2-0 in the second half so TU will probably have to travel to Akron. The Zips are undefeated and untied this season so they are due to fall. Quote

MDZip Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 I saw this on the BigSoccer board and thought it was worth sharing. It appeared shortly after Ampai knocked in the free kick."Aim it like Ampaipitakwong". Quote
bmaker Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 Let's see if we can do something like this on Saturday! Quote
UAZipster0305 Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 Prediction: 2-0 in the spirit and trend of the first two games.Goals from Bunbury and Nagbe with two assists from Nanchoff. Quote

What is the status of Nanchoff? I've heard a lot of conflicting reports and he didn't go at all last game obviously... Quote
zippyrifle32 Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 I'm going to say 3-0, which is a thorough ass kicking, but for the first time students will have the ability to harass the goalie on both ends of the field. Quote

Shame on UA if they adopt a final soccer stadium plan that does NOT include harassment zones on BOTH ends of the field. Quote

That could be the biggest home field advantage in college soccer. Quote
MDZip Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 We already beat them 1-0 at their home field, and I don't believe they have improved any more than we have. For tomorrow, Tulsa gets the feel of what it might lkke to be named the Zips, not because they'll win but because they'll be getting zip. Zips 2 Tulsa zip, "Aim it like Ampaipitakwong" continues his remarkable run with another goal and we get one from an unexpected source (Chris Korb perhaps). Rowdies go crazy and it's on to Cary to face UNC (I do hope I'm wrong on this last part of the prediction though, I'd rather see Drake). Quote

However, they are an intimidating prospective opponent. I believe we are the best team in the country right now, but on any given day... Quote

I'm not worried about UNC, I'd just rather not face them 20 minutes from their campus. Quote
