ZachTheZip Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 I love watching the Zips blow out MAC-level teams. The game's at 2:00. The women's team also plays at 2:00 at Niagara. Today should be a win for both teams. Quote

Quickzips Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 Zips by 22...I'll go 76-54.Well your point spread is about right.....if you're predicting the first half. Zips dominating a completly overmatched St. Francis team 40-18 at the half.Jimmy Conyers having another very solid game. McNees with a good game. B.McK has been big on the glass. More than anything though, St. Francis just can't match up with us it seems. Quote
Dave in Green Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 How is St. Francis, PA considered MAC-level? I have been to there campus. There is nothing about St. Francis that would be considered MAC level.Notre Dame and Columbus State obviously didn't think St. Francis was unworthy to schedule this year. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted December 21, 2009 Author Report Posted December 21, 2009 Their record and scheduling philosophy are very MAC-level. Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 Their record and scheduling philosophy are very MAC-level.Cleveland State's scheduling philosophy is very "Big East." Does that mean they're a Big East caliber program? No. If Saint Francis played in the MAC, they would probably not win a single conference game. Hell...they could field an all star team, combining the best of Saint Francis Pa and Saint Francis NY and still probably go "o-fer" the MAC. If they did win a game, it would certainly not be against a MAC East opponent. MAYBE they could get lucky and beat Toledo or EMU. At home. Once.To suggest a Northeast Conference doormat is a "MAC-level" team is pretty ludicrous. Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 A odd note from the epic St Francis game -- Elton Alexander attended it...but didn't write a column? The PD used a wire report. He did write one for the K.e.n.t. game held later that day. Quote
zipboy Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 I saw Elton take off around halftime. Maybe he was bored and decided to do the full Can't game? Quote
