So what makes you want the kid? Not that I can put much stock in "stars" but he's rated as "1" on the two major recruiting sites, lists interest in a lot of major programs but has no offers from any at all. Have you seen him personally?

He played both offensive tackle and defensive tackle during his junior season and will do the same as a senior.The 6-4, 298-pounder is expected to play on offense at the next level. He attended camps at Ohio State and Pitt earlier this summer, and visited Akron."Akron and Ohio State are pretty much my two favorites," Buzelli said. "I like Cincinnati, Pitt, and Ohio University too, but mostly Akron and Ohio State."Ohio State is my favorite. At their camp they said if I play really well, after the first two games they would think about offering me."Buzelli is waiting for his first scholarship offer.

Big Kahuna,Don't be confused. Simply looking at wrestling skills as an indicator of football potential.

The kid looks very impressive in this video because he's good at annihilating 185 pound defensive lineman. Looking more closely, he has horrible knee bend, his feet stop on contact before restarting, he's slow off the ball even in comparison to the other HS linemen around him, and his punch is rather slow as well....That's what college coaches are seeing, and that's why he doesn't have any offers. That being said, I like his nastiness, and if he doesn't recieve any offers I think he'd be a great preferred walk-on candidate and a project for one of the best offensive line coaches in the country, which we happen to have recently hired. He can work on his knee bend, explosiveness off the ball, and punch, but you can't coach desire and nastiness. I like him as a walk-on.

Just to answer this question, the wrestling program was dropped after the '80-'81 season.
