Sergeant Zip Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 Anyone can have a bad century. With the 49-24 loss to Purdue, Akron is now 1-14 against the Big Ten. The last win came over Ohio State ... in 1894  http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/story/4864824 The time has to be coming... Quote
Wally B Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 Not that we shouldn't be able to beat one of the Big10small11's lower teir teams, I'm just wondering, who else in the MAC has beaten tOSU???? Quote
Buckzip Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 The Akron win was the last MAC team to beat OSU. They said it during the Texas game. I guess it didn't matter that UA wasn't in the MAC. Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted September 15, 2005 Report Posted September 15, 2005 The Akron win was the last MAC team to beat OSU. They said it during the Texas game. I guess it didn't matter that UA wasn't in the MAC. I was watching a CUSA game last weekend. The network showed a list of the 6 or 7 CUSA QB's in the NFL. Included were Culpepper, Pennington and Leftwitch, who obviously never played in CUSA. If we beat OSU in 1894, I'll take it. I'm glad they still count such an old win as one for Akron and the MAC. Lookinf forward the the next one in 2007. Quote

Zipsrifle Posted September 16, 2005 Report Posted September 16, 2005 If we'll have a shot, it'll be in 2007. Man are we going to be loaded, especially if we can keep rolling in Big recruiting classes! Wouldn't that be a cool first game at the new stadium, if OSU came to town? I know, it'll never happen, but it would still be cool. Quote
