zippy5 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 You guys want to know what is killing the Zips?35.5% from the fieldLosing the rebounding battle 20-132-10 from three7 turnovers to 4 assistsagree. their not playing like they did the other nightthanks, John Madden Quote
Quickzips Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 7:31 without a fieldgoal. Another patented Zips move. Quote
zipsfan13 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Hopefully they can keep up this nice run for a while. Quote
Quickzips Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 McNees' third triple of the game cuts it to 10 with just under 13 to go. Zips have gone into a 2-3 Zone the last couple possessions and so far it looks to be confusing the Bulls. Still a lot of game left. Gotta take this one possession at a time. Quote
Z.I.P. Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Hopefully they can keep up this nice run for a while. They're not quitting. 17 pt deficit is 10. No quit here. Quote
Quickzips Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 And then we go right back to turning it over and Steve with a intentional foul giving Buffalo 2 FT's and possession. Going to really need a break here with maybe some missed FT's or a TO on the inbound or something. Quote
timmyboy Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 the feed broke up on the intentional foul. was it intentional or another foul made into a big deal. Quote

I remember watching him play back in Erie, Pa in high school and he was the same bum back then... Quote

zippy5 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 this isn't even fun to watch. if i wanted to watch a free throw shooting contest, i would've found one online. Quote
Quickzips Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Any time we want to try and defend Pierce is good by me. Quote
zipsfan13 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Another wide open three pointer for Buffalo. I don't think the ball boy has had a chance to shoot one yet, maybe he should get a chance too. Quote
Dave in Green Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Back to the reality of the MAC. The road is full of hazards, and the only thing that really counts is to peak for the tournament. Quote
zippy5 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Back to the reality of the MAC. The road is full of hazards, and the only thing that really counts is to peak for the tournament.cut it to ten with ~7 minutes left. and we have the ball. it ain't over yet buddy. Quote
Quickzips Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Zips at least haven't given up yet. But they have to really put a run together here if they want to win this thing. Someone HAS to guard Pierce and Smiley. They are the only 2 for Buffalo who have hit more than 1 FG today. Unlike the BG game though, they are actually killing us with just the two players. Quote
Quickzips Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Dagger 3 from Pierce. 11 point Buffalo lead again. Fat lady warming up. Quote
timmyboy Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 sloppy........and it looks like their giving up Quote
zipsfan13 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 It looks like they're falling apart once again. No defense all of a sudden and turning the ball over on offense... nice. Quote

zippy5 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Pierce is just unstoppable today. would've liked to see a little more effort guarding him earlier, but players get hot. not much you can do about that today. Quote
Quickzips Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Turnovers and a lack of anyone who can/will guard Rodney Pierce is a big problem here. This is a game where I wish we had Linhart's length to bother him on the perimeter. Quote
zippy5 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 on the bright side, BG is up 5 at Can't with 35 seconds left Quote
Quickzips Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 on the bright side, BG is up 5 at Can't with 35 seconds leftA Can't home loss would be a bit of a silver lining, but not much. Quote
zipsfan13 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 No foul when the kid from Buffalo lowered his shoulder and knocked Mcnees down? Quote
RowdyZip Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 No foul when the kid from Buffalo lowered his shoulder and knocked Mcnees down? Yep....well not that it matters when you hit 13 of 25 from the line. It'd be a manageable game right now if we hit 75%. Quote
