It talked about EJ Thomas Hall and Patti Lupone and Mandy Patinkin who my wife and I actually saw at EJ this year as part of the Broadway in Akron series. Transcript from Glee: 00:13:55 (school bell rings) I found her. 00:13:58 Your mother? Where? 00:14:00 In the library. 00:14:02 I've been researching her all morning, and as I suspected, my intuition has been proven correct. 00:14:07 My mother is Broadway legend Patti Lupone. 00:14:11 I've always had a deep connection to Ms. Lupone-- her choice of roles and songs. 00:14:15 I decided to do a little math to see if her being my mother was even possible. 00:14:19 I was born December 18, 1994. 00:14:22 1994 was a big year for Mother. 00:14:24 She was a sensation inPal Joey. 00:14:26 But that was in New York; I was born in Ohio, you say. 00:14:29 Well, Mother took many breaks from the show to tour with Mandy Patinkin. 00:14:33 That April found them at the EJ Thomas Hall in Akron, Ohio, for a standing room performance-- nine months before I was born. 00:14:39 Are you saying that your fathers impregnated Patti LuPone in the Marriott in Akron? 00:14:43 Was Mandy Patinkin in on this? 00:14:44 All you have to do is look at pictures of her in her performance inMaster Classin 1996. 00:14:49 Look at the pain in her eyes and the hurt she's feeling from giving up her obviously talented little girl. 00:14:54 One question: What was in it for her? 00:14:58 M-Money, a sense of charity for those in need? 00:15:04 I don't know. 00:15:06 Guess you're right. My wife and I were watching it along with our daughter and we all got a big kick out of it It sure beats some of the other pop culture references to Akron over the years.
