ZachTheZip Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 Glad to see it's on ESPN3. With any luck I'll be watching from a hotel room in North Carolina, on the day off between Zips soccer games. Quote

Do we need any further proof of the priority of the New Akron Athletics? However, our old friend Barb would have booked a flight back home, then driven to NC with a stop to see the Rifle team in between! Quote
Dr Z Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 6pm games are the best for tailgating!! I love it. Wednesday game against Miami is 6 pm or 8 pm according to our schedule. Indiana game at 7 pm and on Big Ten Network. Quote

Akron football just makes me depressed when it seems like I put more energy and emotion into being a fan that they put into preparing and playing the game. Quote

I would go to a Zips football game over Soccer even if they were 0-12 the year prior and the Soccer team was defending national champions. There is NOTHING like tailgating and eating good food/getting hammered and watching college football. Soccer is neat and all, but football is where it's at. Quote
