Nvm, that game's over and done. But BG can still beat Miami and lose to Toledo, which would put us all at 3 losses again and a potential Miami loss to Ohio as well puts them at 4 losses, making ourselves and BG tied and putting us in the conference championship. Keep the faith. The season isn't over with yet.

I agree with those who thought we should have tried a QB sneak. I mean 1st and

goal from a foot away!!!!!. Why give the defense a chance to get a push??? Plenty

of blame to go around for this one!!! Why does Getsy take 1 complete half to wake

up????? Defense was good, can't keep giving up field position with bad special teams

play!!!

the defwnsw gave up four third downs of more than eight yards against a bad bsu team

How are you going to blame the defense. They held BSU to fieldgoals instead of touchdowns. With out that the Zips had no chance of a comeback.

Plain and simple Gesty has to sit. No team can afford to wait until late 3rd quarter for thier QB to get hot and lead them back to a win. He missed way to many open WR in the first half.

I was at the game and the defense played a good game. I believe that if the coaches would ever try another QB instead of sticking with their man, change things up a little, we would have won a few more games than we did. I also noticed on here someone saying to put Jabari in. Jabari was not dressed for the game due to an injury. However, Ferguson was there and should have been put in the game at halftime if not before. Ferguson is the 2nd string QB and has not been given a chance the whole year to play or to show the fans of this team what he is made of. I believe the blame for this loss should be placed squarely on the coaches shoulders! The D can only do so much!

jim pry is the oc not jd

the ol is shitty beyond belief and any rushing yards are a result od biggs alone

our kixking game is awful

Yo Sloopy...Thanks for the news update. I had no idea that Jim Pry was the offensive coordinator and not JD.

Now a news update for you:

"Coach" Brookhart calls every single offensive play. He has done so for the last two seasons. Jim Pry has the OC title in name only. The situation is the same as it was when JD was a slappy at Pitt. Walt Harris called every play but JD had the title as OC at Pitt.

You had no idea we even had an OC, and in the same breath you definitively pronounce that JD calls all the plays. How do you know this? Because Walt Harris did it that way? Personally, I think you're guessing.

Our team is young, young, young. We redshirted a lot of our recruited talent this year. This is a building process, it does not happen in one year. If JD brings in another solid recruiting class, the wins will come. We all need to hang in there and not let our hopes get the best of us (especially you, Big Zip :) Man you wear your emotions on your sleeve).

I highly doubt JD and Co read this board for the very reason that we fans are only as good as the last win or loss. JD clearly knows what to do with talent - Charlie said several times in the press that he was so grateful to have had the time with JD, even if it was for only one year. Our defense, for as young as it is, is much improved. Let's all just settle down a little, enjoy basketball season this year, and see what happens in the long run with football. Rome wasn't built in a day.

except for Can't and buffalo the mac seems to be like the nfl on any given sunday any team can beat any other team.i think bg ,toledo, niu, and miami have fallen a little.

still when you rush for 84 yards i don't think your going to win many games.

Wow, with the improved defense, you have to wonder where we would be if he still had Frye..

Probably right where we are now. The guy produced less than five wins per year and no MAC East Championships. If we win one more game, and we will against Can't, the production this season will beat the average from the previous four years. The book is closed on that guy, give it up.

Gp1,Most of the people on this board know that your dislike for former coach Owens,

translates into your desire to discard #5's ability and accomplishments, while

operating behind an average or below average offensive line.

Having said this, I agree with you that is time to move on and root for the QB

position to settle down.

Mostly true and fair. However, I also have a strong dislike for the type of player who believes an Athletic Director must get his blessing before making a coaching change.
