35-17...it's about time we bust out a little bit offensively.

Many would read this and not see the sarcasm. I think it is funny. Nice work.

Our offense had 31 points at the end of the 3rd quarter. What that tells me is they can score points....a big concern of mine after only putting up 3 against Syracuse. Against a I-AA team they should have had 45 at the end of the game. I could care less what happens against KY and IN. I still think this team can win. They need to get their heads out of their butts at crunch time and play well. The MAC schedule is just around the corner. Let's see how they do. They need to execute when it matters.

What it tells me is that we had some success blocking them, and some successs running and passing because they were an inferior opponent.

The score is impossible to predict as it will depend entirely on how merciful UK decides they want to be.

I have the feeling it is going to be one of those horrible, and all-too-frequent games against a BCS school where we're just relieved every time our O get a first down or our D keeps the opposition from scoring a TD - you know, when simply holding the other team to a FG seems like a small victory.

It sure ain't easy being a fan of the Zippers.

I don't even want to think about the final score of this game. The only thing I'll be looking for is the slightest sign of improvement in any area of the Zips game, with the understanding that even a slightly improved Zips team is still likely to be slaughtered.
