Paraphrasing some "new" stuff:

-Andy Alleman in charge of 2005 MAC Championship reunion at the end of first quarter at this weeks game.

-NIU has seven seniors on defense.

-Igor kicked off second half, kick off is an open competition.

-Wildcat is called "wildcat", not "wild kangaroo", thought it went well.

-Like Dr Z suggested, full back was used more the first half, we are pleased with Austin.

-I hope it shows on the scoreboard, but the more I am listening to iCoach, I'm starting to warm up to him.

-No significant injuries to report.

-Half of our recruits are playing, half are red shirting. Zip fans should be excited about our recruiting here.

-Several young guys coming in January

-Good reception on recruiting, went to Cincy area before Kentucky game.

*Coach seems to do a better job being accessible to the media than previous coaches (whomever is in charge of it). I enjoy watching and listening to the coach speak about previous and future games.

Um it's the 5th anniversary of the championship season and its a great way to spur on the team and remind everyone that supports the program where it is supposed be.

NIU was supposed to be unstoppable that season, and we beat them twice.

Edit. Oh, and it's a way to connect to the tradition of the program for a completely new staff.

Hopefully we take a rolled up newspaper and put the Huskies in their place.

I don't see anything wrong with it, nobody playing on NIU played in that game anyway, what should they care. If they are focused on that, great. Too bad Luke won't be there, Pitt has a game Saturday also. Hixon might be there since he is on the IR and not practicing with the Giants right now.
