johnnyzip84
The USA Today odds are edging downward to WMU by 7.5. The Broncos passing game will be a stiff test for the Zip secondary. Hopefully we'll see some more blitzing to disrupt their QB. I think Caleb Porter should call Bill Cubit immediately and let him know that if the Broncos try to run it up in the afternoon, they should expect some payback come evening
RACER
the spread would have to be 55 for me to take the zips for any of the remaining games.why would you not take wmu and give up7.5.in most of our games it's over after the first quarter.hopefully vegas knows something the akron u fans don't. skip-zip
I've been thinking this should be the most winnable game in conference play thus far, besided Ken+. So,maybe that's not saying much. But, I don't think there is anything incredible about this WMU team as a whole. But, their passing game could turn it into a shootout, and I don't give us much chance to win that battle if PN is still running our passing game. And I see their QB is a sophomore also, completing 61% of his passes for a 260+ yards per game average. Makes me wanna
Dr Z
And I see their QB is a sophomore also, completing 61% of his passes for a 260+ yards per game average. Toledo beat him by picking him off FOUR times.. Time to step it up secondary!

Dr Z
But lets also hope the kid doesn't throw for over 400 yards again too.I hope he throws for 400 yards and loses just like he did against Toledo. So far Carder and his team have only figured out how to beat Nicholls State (whom I have never even heard of) and Ball State. We have GOT to be able to put some assemblance of a game plan together that can compete with that!?!?

In General, I would say its a Major disappointment to learn that you have never heard of the Colonels. Fortunately for you, despite your lack of knowledge the Sargent at arms will be administering no Corporal punishment this time. Please Captain your resources to prevent this situation from reoccurring. If and when such punishment is required we will try to keep it Private. http://www.geauxcolonels.com/

johnnyzip84
Interesting pre-game article from the WMU point of view. Check out the nice pics of happier times! ZachTheZip
WMU brings solid offense to Akron I didn't know that we have been outscored 92-26 in second quarters this season so far. Also, I look forward to hearing coach Faust's opinions in the radio booth along side French. Alleman is off tomorrow.

bobbyake
anyone know where I can stream this game? Besides ESPN 3, i have Roadrunner ESPN 3 works for road runner now. weird, it says it doesn't for me. Maybe because I use the school provided Roadrunner? It says Time Warner does not provide it. What I found on Wikipedia: "Time Warner Cable Agreement In September 2010, ESPN made a deal with Time Warner Cable to allow ESPN3 to be viewed by subscribers of both TWC's video and internet services. This is in contrast to past deals which only required internet service. Despite the agreement, the service has not yet been enabled. ESPN & Time Warner Cable explain that the delay is caused by the need to develop a process that makes the service available only to TWC video customers. According to broadbandreports.com, service will become available for TWC video customers on October 25, 2010."

zipsfan13
Nice play by Nicely . Why can't Ianello give Rodgers a chance? They're going to lose anyway, so why not try another quarterback?
