AKRON, Ohio – Tom Wistrcill, the Director of Athletics at The University of Akron, will be be a guest on a trio of local radio stations Thursday morning. Wistrcill will be on 98.1 FM (WKDD) with Keith Kennedy at 7:20 a.m., 640 AM (WHLO) with Jim Albright at 7:35 a.m. and 101.7 FM (WHOF) with Gary Rivers and Amy Malone in Canton at 7:45 a.m. Among other things, Wistrcill will discuss the kick off of Family Weekend, which will feature eight UA home events over the course of three days starting Friday. I bet they would get better viewership than some of the programming that is on there right now. Hell, the MAC's headquarters are in Cleveland so they could do it at little cost. Yes I did and they were talking about the Rifle team when I was listening to it. Never thought I would see the day when I could listen to Akron Rifle coverage on the radio.
