Hilltopper Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 Zips Signee Dylan Brumbaugh was named 1st team Div 1 all NEO Inland. Congrats and lets hope you have a stellar career at UA. I had the chance to see Dylan play 6 times this season and he is going to be a good player for the Zips. Sure would be nice if the Zips could land the RB from Marlington. All NEO Inland Dylan Brumbaugh, Green 6-5, 265, Sr., OL Akron recruit. Two-way force in the trenches. Helped pave way for Green to gain 368.4 yards a game. Quote

I follow Stark County football closely (mainly Federal League), and here are my thoughts. He is an excellent football player; physical with deceptive speed. Another RB to look out for is Jimmy Luther from Lake. He is a senior this year, but did not receive offers due to a knee injury. He is a smart kid with an enormous amount of talent. Both guys have carried their respected teams to playoff runs so far this year. I've met the Marlington RB you're referring to - Alden Hill. The "kid" is ABSOLUTELY HUGE. Quote
Blue & Gold Posted November 20, 2010 Report Posted November 20, 2010 I'm going to misspell this kids name, but Marlington also has a sophomore RB named DeMonte Thomas (sp?) who Rivals.com has ranked as one of their Top 100 Sophomores in the nation. Marlington is loaded this year - and next. Oh, and btw, Alden Hill is still only a Junior. Quote

He and Hill make for a backfield that is difficult to match from other Ohio schools, regardless of division. And yes, they will both be back...hopefully we can land one fo them. Quote
