ZachTheZip
How many weak fouls can get called on one player in a single season? Zeke is pushing to break that record.
Dr Z
Blocking foul on Bardo was BS.Looked like a block to me. You just can't bail somebody out with the shot clock at 01. Zeke has to be smart with his fouls. He was keeping Eli out of the game. With Zeke out, Eli is starting to heat up.

RowdyZip
This defense comes out for 40 minutes a game, and we're undefeated for this upcoming road trip. SUFFOCATING.
Quickzips
Zips up 9 and have been more or less dominating the 2nd half. Detroit looks frustrated on offense despite the fact that the refs are blowing every little sniffle the Zips defenders make towards the Titans. Bad news for the Zips, Bardo and Zeke with 4 fouls. The two on Zeke were....well....questionable at best. I'm not exactly sure what the big guy is supposed to do to avoid those two. You pretty much can't get within 3 feet of Holman without getting a whistle right now.

Quickzips
Very impressed with Abreu tonight. He's played some very nice D on McCallum and he's been a nightmare for the Titans driving to the hole. Hopefully I don't jinx him here. Zips up 11. That was one heck of a continuation. Karma made the and 1 go front rim.

It's been a questionably called game to say the least. That call probably doesn't even rank in the top 5 of questionable calls so far. The Zips wasted a possession right there without really getting anything close to a good shot. They can't turn it off now, still plenty of time left for Detroit to mount a comeback. Quickzips
Looks like a big win for the Zips here. Should be a much better mood around Zipsnation the next couple days.
jem101
Titans can't even get called for an intentional foul.
Quickzips
All the cheap touch fouls on the Zips all game and Detroit tries to send McNees to the line and they can't get the official to blow the whistle. Unreal.

He had a few nice passes tonight also. I hope he progresses throughout the year.

Dave in Green
Amazing ref tricks: The Detroit player obviously fouls McNees to send him to the free throw line. The ref doesn't call it. The player grabs McNees again. The ref doesn't call it. Finally grabs him with both hands a third time, and the ref can no longer ignore it. The Detroit player puts his arms out and looks incredulously at the ref. Hey, that was the ref game plan tonight. Call everything on the Zips and nothing on Detroit. Disgusting! gozips19
big big win! the zips will go as far as Nik can take them. Abreu looks like a faster Humpty. Glad KD stuck with the freshmen this game. big step moving forward for this team.
Dr Z
Congrats on a solid road win.Detroit is a sloppy team. Zips would beat them 9 out of 10 times in Akron.
Quickzips
Very nice win for the Zips. They took Detroit out of their game in the second half despite the ridiculous foul situation. If the Zips play like they did in the second half the rest of the way this team is going to be pretty darn good.

Glad KD stuck with the freshmen this game. big step moving forward for this team. That is an insult to Alex to be honest. In five games so far Alex has already finished on more dribble drives to the hole than Humpty did in his entire time here. Alex also looks to be a much better passer. GIve me this kid over Humpty any day of the week. He's got some things to work on, but he already looks to be a better player than Humpty. The only real similarity is their size. RowdyZip
This has me feeling a little better after that nasty taste left in my mouth after CSU. I think we can take out UIC Saturday and hopefully have some confidence going into Minnesota and Temple. Speaking of big wins, how about Miami beating Xavier late?
