Wow. They're predicting 12 inches of snow in the Detroit area, which would make it the second worst snowstorm in the area since 1929. Add 30 mph winds, and the snow drifting is going to be awful. I lived for many years about 25 miles north of EMU, and I can tell you from past experience that it is going to be one big mess up there.

Zips vs EMU game still on but...............

the Can't State men's basketball game that was slated for 7 tonight at Western Michigan has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Feb. 21 in Kalamazoo.

''There were a lot of other schools in the conference in the same boat as we are,'' Asst AD Ashby said. ''The Mid-American Conference was great in working with us on rescheduling games on both the men's and women's side. While the weather can't always be predicted, when we are aware of a bad storm coming, it just is not in the best interests of the student athletes to send them out in it.

No such thing as a cupcake on the road, none. EMU's Brandon Bowdry is a beast, this guy will get a long look from some NBA teams, he's that good.

A short look maybe, but not a long look.

Betcha an orange soda

9+ minutes in and we have two field goals. It sure sounds ugly. Higgins is the guy that killed us at home last year. If he gets it going we have some problems.
