Dr Z Posted February 15, 2011 Report Posted February 15, 2011 I have posted many times on here how I love listening to former Jets GM Pat Kirwan on Sirius NFL Radio. He always says something that I learn from on his show. I heard he wrote a book, so I ordered it a month ago anticipating reading it this past weekend on a mini vaca in South Beach. Any ZN football fan will be a more knowledgeable football fan for reading it. I loved it. He describes personnel, play calling, game planning, types of offenses, types of defenses, position strategies, player responsibilities.... Pat assumes you already know about football and want to learn more. For Browns fans there is a good description of QB play calling in the West Coast offense. Less than ten bucks, worth every penny PS I got to meet Ochocinco this weekend. Surprisingly nice guy. Quote

While you were gone we filled our Defensive Coordinator position. I lobbied as had as I could on your behalf, be UA decided to go for a guy that couldn't stop Northern Illinois, Ball State or North Dakota State while coaching at Big 12 and Big 10 schools. Quote

Or Chuckie Frye for that matter! Quote
