GoZips
Once again, the blundering, dunderheaded MAC stumbles. The MAC and the media heaped high praise on the Flushers top to bottom. Why I believe that even their water boy got more awards than the Zips. After watching the championship game I have to wonder just why did a coach get "Coach of the Year" for doing exactly what was predicted he would do. Why was the honor bestowed prior to playing the championship game? Why wasn't beating four teams in the conference tournament including beating the #3, #2 and #1 seeds one after the other not a consideration for MAC Coach of the Year. I think there should be a re-vote. Keith Dambrot IS the real MAC Coach of the Year.

Although Frenchie enjoys mentioning Coach D's snubs. 5 MACC games in a row and no MAC Coach of the Year? I'll agree he's most deserving, but you can bet if that award was given after the conference tourney, Coach D would have 5 of them by now. UAZip0510
I wouldn't want any other MAC coach over Dambrot. He has a passion for this team and this program, gets the most out of our players, and produces a team we can be proud of both on and off the court. Congrats Keith, the rest of his staff and all of the players who stepped up big-time this week!

Kangaroo Craig
He has been the best coach in the MAC his entire time at both Akron and Central Michigan. There have been many times when he has not had the most talent, but still manages to get it done. That is the mark of a great coach. Earlier this year he thought his team was awful, and in some aspects they were. He rallied the troops and now they are where they are today. Teams led by Coleman Crawford or Dan Hipsher would have mailed it in back in January. This guy is as tough as nails and his players respond.
