Hilltopper exaggerates a bit, but the Andrick-Hipsher steel cage match is well-know to be the point where Thunder Dan jumped the shark.
I agree. Dan went from being a loud, barking coach to being a dick.
Stacey looked like Barkley in the second half that day. Did he have 30 after halftime?
That's what happens when no one is guarding you. B Hip could have scored 30 that night. Biggest lay down by a Zips team I ever saw.

Ryan Andrick Update:RYAN ANDRICK, Varsity AssistantCoach Andrick enters his first season as a member of the Perry coaching staff. He served as Head Coach at Springfield High School for four years 2003-07. It had been 26 seasons since their last winning record or conference title. During his final two seasons, Coach Andrick compiled a 31-10 record, 14-0 record in league road games and back-to-back conference championships. He was recognized as Coach of the Year by his conference and the Greater Akron Basketball Coaches Association. His coaching career began as an assistant at St. Vincent-St. Mary in 2001, a season that culminated in a State Championship. As a senior at Manchester High, he led all Summit County players in scoring and rebounding, while pacing Manchester to its first league title in 21 seasons. He became only the second player in school history to accept a D-1 basketball scholarship. As a four year starter at the University of Akron, Ryan helped the Zips win their first league title in over a decade. He graduated as one of only 13 players in university history to be a member of both the 1,000 point and 500 rebound clubs. He and his wife April reside in Hartville.
