zff
Looks like this young man will be a Zip. I just wonder if he will be an RB or a DB????
zip37
MAYBE BBOTH?!!!!!
Quickzips
Looks like a potentially good pickup. Ranked #100 by scout.com there. High interest, offers from NC, Marshall, Vandy.
ziplock
If this is the case, having 2 three star backs in the recruiting class is great news. This young man and Andre Boone from Va. (only Super Prospect recruit by any MAC school according to Hodges/CSTV) should have our opponents "on the run".Go Zips!!
gozips19
its official according to rivals he is a zip! he looks like a very good athlete but needs to put on about 10-15 lbs. before he can be a true force. with that said his defensive highlights looked just as good as his highlights at running back! this kid can play! lets keep it going and land jackson from brookhaven!go zips! MRasor0200
Up until today, I wasn't sure if Akron's class could compare with NIU, Toledo, BG and Miami. Now, I'd bet the Zips class is best. Especially if Josh Chichester verbals with Akron. To read more about Chichester, a top 20 receiver, take a look at my blog.blogs.ohio.com/rasor
liljc
Wow, Chichester, huh? That would be a nice addition. The kid is something like 6'8"! That's why you keep bringing these kids in, you never know what might happen. Get him JD! The Buckeyes loss is our gain. :macc:
liljc
Rivals says that Chichester hasn't met his academic requirements and that's the reason he's looking at Loiusville and Akron...We'll see how this one plays out
AK-Zips
he's also a stud basketbal player who originally said he would play at tOSU in hoops.
zff
Why not give the kid a shot. So he sits out this year and is able to play next year. He is a huge talent with great size. Well worth the risk.
Captain Kangaroo
I don't know the details, but it may be that he doesn't meet Ohio States academic requirements but could very well meet Akron's. Maybe he wouldn't need to sit out a year. If I'm not mistaken, that's how Dennis Kennedy's OSU/Akron story went.I am awaiting news from Derrell Johnson and Elijah Fields. I know they're longshots, but either of those kids would really put an already impressive class over the top.
zff
Don't put too much faith in either of these two becoming a Zip.Fields is down between Pitt and Penn State and Johnson has yet to take any offical visits puls he does not quailfy grades wise.I would have to both are long long shots at this point.
