The MAC had a pretty good opening week. (Probably not good news for us.)

My biggest concern looking at this is the volume of points OU and Temple put up. Some other mac schools put up a lot of points as well. We put up zero points. College football is a game now of scoring a lot of points and making the other team keep up the pace. I don't see our style of offense ever putting up the volume of points needed to be really successful in 2011.

WMU looked good before thery fell apart. They will move the ball well in the MAC season.

In the final MAC game of the weekend, EMU defeats Howard by a score of 41-9. No word on how badly the Howard band destroyed the Eastern band in the halftime show
