Captain Kangaroo
I was able to contact someone at the University regarding existing "verballed" and committed soccer recruits. Our new coach (Caleb...I guess it is time we get used to the name) is meeting with the verballed soccer recruits this week. Last week was a dead period. Our committals have not signed elsewhere and wanted to meet their potential new coach. Hopefully they stay with the program. If they choose to go elsewhere the general feeling is we are as good if not better off due to the contacts Caleb has nationally and abroad. More will be known in a week or two. RedSteve
Sorry captain, but Miami's hockey team is currently ranked #1 in the nation. Not an easy feat to accomplish.College hockey is a major draw and can sometimes rival that of college hoops. Unfortunately for you, the appeal is nonexistent for soccer especially in Akron. RobC2
Quite true. EXCEEDINGLY few NCAA D-I hockey teams as compared to D-I soccer teams. Not the least bit comparable.Go Zips!

ziplock
Let me know when you are heading to Saskatoon, eh? I understand that several hockey recruits are looking at Cryami and Lake Superior State. It may come down to the beer selection available in town.Go Zips!!
