Big Zip Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 I will be interested in the consistent "lacking playmakers mantra" we have heard with an actual coach. My guess is this team is three wins better next year just because they have a coach who knows what he is doing. If the team proves to be better than what people have though because of their performance there is opportunity to be even better. I know we've heard time and time again that iCoach's recruiting classes were good, but have never seen it on the field. Is it possible we will see the talent that the scouting organizations saw when they rated these kids coming into college. Will Terry be able to get the greatness that supposedly existed in these kids to come out. I know it is still basketball season, but I miss football already and can't wait for the season to start. I have to imagine we'll even be welcome watching practice Quote
Zipmeister Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 http://www.foxsportsohio.com/02/09/12/Bowd...amp;feedID=3725 The one thing I can't figure out from reading this article is whether Wagner has decided to transfer. Quote

blueandgold Posted February 10, 2012 Report Posted February 10, 2012 Here's my favorite quote from Bowden in the article. "I can talk about this, talk about that. The only thing that changes anything is winning." And how many times can they mention Brian Wagner??? Quote
Buckzip Posted February 10, 2012 Report Posted February 10, 2012 Who is this Brian Wagner character? Quote
zipsfan33 Posted February 10, 2012 Report Posted February 10, 2012 Yeah Im suprised the Headline isn't "Spring Football Without Brian Wagner Playing LB for the Zips" Wow that was a lot indeed! Quote
NewZipsFan Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 Yeah Im suprised the Headline isn't "Spring Football Without Brian Wagner Playing LB for the Zips" Wow that was a lot indeed! I heard something about some pretty decent LB that decided to transfer to Arizona to play for Rich Rodriguez. I've been too busy learning about the plethora of new Linebackers that Coach Amato is going to hand-mold into top LBers in the conference and the country. I really liked the part about the "Top of the Class Recruits"... interesting that two out of the three were originally considered, "who? from where? don't they play basketball?". Don't think that these guys were recruited by accident or just at the last minute to fill spots. These coaches know what they're doing. Quote
Dr Z Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 This will be my fourth year in a row posting this, but I think with coach Bowden we have a chance of it happening: Can we get the spring game on TV please? Quote

My guess is they will stream on GoZips.com. But really STO should pick it up. Last year it was held in the fieldhouse, which surprisingly was pretty much filled. Quote
