ORU Bobble Head...

To be honest, I didn't think they could make bobbleheads of current players. Maybe because they are "free" giveaways?

It's just the hypocrisy of the NCAA at work. ORU can "give" out 2,500 hundred of "free" "DoMo" bobbleheads and it's all good. But if "DoMo" happens to get his hands on just one of them, and sells it, he's ineligible. What a system.

Thought the same thing. Apparently not in Oklahoma.

KD has switched from the trademark Diet Pepsi, I think it happened last year. Caffeine free Lipton. Yum?

Same here. I thought there were rules against using NCAA student athlete's names on souvenirs like this. Just like jerseys can't be made with names on them. Maybe since it only technically has his nickname, it's allowed? and like others have said maybe the free factor could be the reason too.

Would love a Zeke bobblehead to go with my 2 Zippys. Make him really tall breaking out of the JAR ceiling! Also KD, or even Diggs and Harney with the mini 'fros.

They can use "Ziggy"..for guess who????? The NCAA rules about the use of players for promotional materials is very flexible for colleges especially when dealing with a "scholarship" player. Once the student signs the scholarship papers, the are also giving the school permission to use their names and/or likeness for whatever promotional material they desire to use as long as the player him and/or herself is not directly compensated in anyway.

So like someone said, they can use his image, stats, name, voice, likeness of any kind but they cannot PAY him for it...which is why you are now seeing ALOT of lawsuits come against EA Sports because they are still using the likeness and image of retired players both at the college and pro video games..BUT you won't see their EXACT image on the current college games.

It's a lawsuit still being dealt with and the courts, NCAA & EA Sports have a lot of legal rangling to deal with. It never ends!
